Our cosy Bar offers a warm welcome in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. The décor here is nautical and a large Lobster and Oyster tank takes pride of place.
Here meals are served all day using the finest local produce. In addition to our extensive Bar menu we also have a "Special Blackboard" which changes daily. Lighter lunch snacks are also available.
A Cocktail list is available, and we also serve a large selection of wines by the glass.

In the heart of Ireland’s gourmet capital (Kinsale) Jim, Paula and the Edwards family have been providing excellent food in their elegant restaurant since 1971. The restaurant is open throughout the week, all year round. Evening candlelight dining commences at 5.30pm.
In this establishment of character, imaginative menus are prepared from daily delivered local fresh ingredients. Along with Seafood creations and tender Irish succulent Steaks, the Local Lamb and Organic duck are also popular.

A particular feature is our Lobster Tank from which you can make your own choice and have it prepared to your liking by our chef.

This characterful old place in the heart of Kinsale is known for its atmosphere and the consistent quality of the hearty food served both pub and restaurant.
It`s authentic cosy pub atmosphere is embellished with electric "oil" lamps over some of the tables, and the dècor - a polished wood floor with inset patterned tiles, mustard and maroon colour scheme, and curios on display - works really well, for a relaxed pub atmosphere.
Seafood is a speciality ( try the medallions of Monkfish with spring onion, ginger & lime dressing & hellip), but there is plenty to please everyone on all menus, from spicy chicken wings, or crab claws in garlic butter to sirloin steak, lamb chops and seafood au gratin on the extensive bar menu and lunch menu – and then the treats of scampi, fresh lobster, rack of lamb on the à la carte: everything is carefully prepared and really tasty.
